2011 High School Student Art Contest



The Colorado Property Rights Coalition (CPRC) announces the 2011 High School Student Art Contest. Our hope is to partner with local high schools to offer students the opportunity to submit contest entries. The top three finalists will be awarded a financial prize and the exposure offered by the CPRC using the winning entry in various promotional purposes and community outreach events.

WHO: The Colorado Property Rights Coalition (CPRC) was formed in 2007. We are a 501(c)4 non-profit corporation consisting of local citizens and professional advisors. The objectives and purpose of CPRC include working to protect the property rights of all Colorado citizens. Additionally, CPRC works toward educating, informing and advocating for issues related to property rights.

WHAT: The 2011 High School Student Art Contest is open to high school students to submit artwork representative of the mission of the Colorado Property Rights Coalition. The artwork is intended to promote the efforts of the CPRC, including the themes of protesting neighborhoods and environment. Entrants will not be limited in number or type of media. Artwork will be judged on originality and the best representation of the goals of the Colorado Property Rights Coalition.

WHERE: All Entries shall be submitted to the CPRC at P.O. Box 526, Arvada, CO 80001-0526

WHEN: Deadline for submission is July 1, 2011. Initial judging shall choose 12 semi-finalists, to be notified on July 11, 2011, at which time all semi-finalists shall be required to submit a high resolution digital format of artwork by July 18, 2011. The announcement of the top three winners will be made on July 29, 2011 on the CPRC websit and in other media outlets. All original submitted artwork shall be available for return.
