Start collecting all articles that have been written about the project that you are working on. There will be newspaper (local and state) articles, snippets from television news reports, radio interviews. Talk among your group to see if any other information might exist that could have been overlooked.

Gather notices of all public and private meetings being held to discuss this project. Get the sign in sheets of those attending the meetings. Collect all available presentation material that is used to promote this project whether it is for or against the project.

Use the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) or the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to obtain records that will not be turned over voluntarily.

Hold meetings with your group to discuss what you have uncovered in the way of information and ways to use the information.
